RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to construct pedestrians bridges and one underpass at three crowded places of Rawalpindi city to enable pedestrians cross the bridge on foot.

The pedestrians bridges will be constructed in Chaklala, Shah Khalid Colony and Gulzar-e-Qaid while underpass will be built in front of Benazir Bhutto hospital.

Director General (DG) RDA Mehr Muhammad Hayat Lak said these three projects have been included in RDS annual development program for the year 2019-20. Owing to increasing number of road accidents at Shah Khalid Colony, bridge therein will be constructed early.

These bridges and underpass will be constructed under Annual Development Program.
