Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Rawalpindi Islamabad Bureau Journalists Association (RIBJA) organized an Eid milan party at National Press Club in which big number of journalists participated .
The Eid party commenced with the recitation of Holy Quran by Bashir Usmani and Naat Sharif by Sharif Razzaq.
RIBJAs office bearers Rafique Mahmood Bhatti, Syed Asif Hamdani along with Tassawar Mughal, managed the proceedings. President RIBJA Sardar Shahid Hamid thanked the esteemed guests and expressed that RIBJA is the most active organization
Sardar Shahid said that RIBJA has always prioritized fostering an atmosphere of brotherhood and unity among journalists, which is vividly evident today with all organizations present together on one stage. Among the attendees were President National Press Club Azhar Jatoi, Secretary NPC Nayar Ali, former president Anwar Reza, Tariq Virk, President ARY UJ, Asif Bashir Chaudhry, Secretary ARY UJ, Tariq Chaudhry, former president ARY UJ, Senior Anchor Ali Raza Alvi, President APP Malik Khizr, Naveed Akbar, Secretary PRA, Khawar Nawaz Raja, President PJEA, Mazhar Sheikh, President CJA, Majid Chaudhry, President AAEES, Sahil Malik, President ARPJ, Luqman Shah, President Hazara Journalists, Habibullah Sardar
Addressing the gathering, RIBJA’s president expressed that RIBJA’s Eid party symbolizes unity. RIBJA’s founders, RIBJA Sardar Shahid, General Secretary Syed Asif Hamdani, and Executive and Governing Body were appreciated for successfully organizing the program. An agreement was reached on joint efforts for resolving present issues faced by journalists. From RIBJA, President PFUJ Afzal Butt and former president Anwar Reza were honored for their outstanding and exemplary services to the journalistic fraternity. RIBJA’s members and a large number of journalists participated.
On the occasion ,RIBJA leaders including President Sardar Shahid and Qurban Satti paid rich tributes to President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist (PFJU) Afzal Butt and former President NPC Anwar Reza for their significant services to the journalistic fraternity.
