Muzaffarabad ,(Parliament Times) : In the education department of Azad Kashmir, the mafia occupying the department has taken the entire system hostage. A senior female officer posted in the education department got her sister appointed as a Senior Teacher by allocating her via PSC on disability quota through forgery.

According to the details, in 2018, a test interview was conducted for the post of Senior Teacher General line in PSC on the disabled quota, in which a candidate named Sana Latif submitted her fake documents after the deadline for the disabled quota.

On which the aggrieved candidate filed a writ in the Supreme Court, which the honorable court gave a decision in favor of the aggrieved female candidate.

Despite the decisions of the High Court issuing orders to the PSC for the appointment of the aggrieved candidate,
she was subjected to severe mental torture through delaying tactics for one year with the collusion of the Education Department and the PSC.

On behalf of the new recommendations on the court orders, the recommendations of 2 April 2018 were canceled and sent to the department for the appointment of the aggrieved candidate Sadaqat Abbasi.

Instead of dismissing Ms. Sana Latif, she was transferred from Girls High School Narool to Girls High School Ghan Chatar Constituency Two Muzaffarabad.

The public, political, and social circles have criticized the corruption, forgeries, nepotism, and looting in the education department. Expressing concern over the violations, the officials have been demanded to take notice.

On the other hand, the department, through forgery, appointed Sana Latif under the disability quota, who had been illegally posted for six years and was drawing salary from the government without disability. On 26 January 2018, she was appointed as a junior teacher at Moji Lipa Middle School, and on 27 January, she gave her attendance report at Lipa School. No disability was shown and transferred instead of following the recommendations of the PSC.

According to the sources, the female officer in the education department also appointed her sister-in-law as a teacher in 2011.

The officials including the Chief Secretary have been requested to take notice and the strictest legal action should be taken against the officials involved in defamation and abuse of merit.
