Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) A commemorative ceremony was arranged in connection with birth
anniversary of late poetess Farzana Naz under auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council
here on Wednesday. The ceremony was presided over by Naheed Manzoor while
husband of Farzana Naz Ismael Bashir was chief guest of the ceremony. The
speaker addressing at the occasion said that Farzana Naz achieved high place in a
very short period of time. They said that untimely death of Farzana Naz left all
disheartened as she loved and gave respect to everyone. The ceremony was
anchored by Deputry Director Sajjad Hussain and special prayer was offered for
the departed soul. A cake was also cut by the participants at the end of the
ceremony.
