Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Municipal Corporation has decided to auction four parking stands including three parking sites and slaughter house. Under all parking contracts, those who have paid parking fee for their vehicles would be responsible for protection of their vehicles on their own. Parking contractor would only be authorized to receive parking fee while the protection of vehicles will not be his responsibility. The auction of three self styled parking sites will be started from the reserve price of Rs 38, 88,000 and the highest bidder will be awarded the contract to receive parking fee for one year. The auction will start in respect of Auto Rickshaw motorcycle stand and Rickshaw Stand parking contract from reserve price of Rs 36, 43, 250 , wagon stand local route contract from Rs 16, 80,750, while Wagon stand general bus stand Pirwadhai contract from Rs 75, 30, 200. On the other hand municipal corporation will also decide to start biding of its one-year contract of slaughter house from reserve price of Rs 1,31,33,500 while the auction of Pirwadhai bus stand will be started from Rs 75,93,400.
