Islamabad : Capital Development Authority (CDA) is running without chairman since the last three weeks.

Member planning, member engineering and members estate are engaged in the tug of war for clinching the post of chairman.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) that was established by an executive order entitled Pakistan Capital Regulation and is responsible for providing municipal services in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) is almost inactive in the absence of a head.
CDA former part-time Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz after the court orders has been removed from this slot but despite passage of three weeks the government could not appoint chairman of this civic body which addss to woes of public circles.
In line with sources, summery in this regard is waiting for the Prime Minister nod for several days.
Sources added that all matters including the reinstatmenet of Director Land are impossible without the approval of chairman.
It is pertinent to mention here that the former chairman had suspended Director Land and DD Land after an inquiry due to this all work of the state is pending since three weeks.
