Rawalpindi: Incomplete road construction work in Block C Satellite Town Rawalpindi has multiplied the woes of residents making them vulnerable to health hazards.

According to media reports, residents of the area said that contractor when started digging for road construction near Bilal hospital allegedly broke the water and sewerage pipes, therefore, due to no proper sewerage system, contaminated water is flowing across the road and in all the connected streets and area has turned into breeding ground for mosquitoes. These mosquitoes continuously buzz in the area and they don’t spare the passers by even during day time and mosquotie bite incidents have become common exposing the citizens to dengue fever.

The residents of Satellite town C Block demanded of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to take immediate notice of the situation and order for completion of construction work of road and rehabilitation of sewerage system in the area.
