Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) The Cantonment Board Rawalpindi Food Branch has served notices to five Flour Mills owners over poor cleanliness and sewerage arrangements.
The raiding teams of Food Branch checked the sanitation system and quality of flour of Kohsar, New Al-Halal, Al- Wahab, Pakistan Rawalpindi Flour Mills located in Westridge area and served notices to five mills owners for not adopting the safety measures.
Meanwhile, the Food Branch also checked and tested samples of juices provided to various shops and forwarded samples to laborites for testing.
The Cantonment Board Rawalpindi Food Branch have also slapped Rs8000 fine to shopkeepers for serving unhygienic food.
