RAWALPINDI: An Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Chakwal police has been allegedly killed during raid within the jurisdiction of Noon police. According to media reports, the accused Imran was wanted to Chakwal police and police had received information that he was settled in Dhok Maliar area of Noon police station. Chakwal police conducted a joint raid along with Islamabad police and during the raid the accused opened firing on police raiding party which resulted into killing of . ASI Akhtar Hayat. The body was handed over to Chakwal police following the conclusion of medico legal formalities.
The accused fled the scene. Police have registered case and started investigation.
