ISLAMABAD:   Pakistan has rejected in unequivocal terms irresponsible and un-warranted statement by Indian foreign ministry on Gilgit-Baltistan saying India has nothing to do with this matter legally, historically and morally.
In a statement issued here Monday, Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Zahid Hafiz Chaudhry said parts of Occupied Kashmir are under illegal and forcible occupation of India since the last 73 years.

The false and fabricated claims by India can neither change the reality nor can it divert international community attention from the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Occupied Kashmir emanating from the worst trampling of human rights by it through its illegal and fascist acts therein.
He held Pakistan stands by its stance forcefully that Kashmir issue be sorted out in the light of UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.
The key to Kashmir issue lies in granting right to self-determination to Kashmiris by holding free and impartial plebiscite under the auspices of the United Nations.

FO Spokesperson underlined administrative, political and economic reforms were long standing demand of people of Gilgit-Baltistan. The provisional reforms reflect the aspirations of local population of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan demands of India to end its illegal and forced occupation of Occupied Kashmir forthwith and grant the Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination through a free and impartial plebiscite under the auspices of United Nations as enshrined in the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
