GWADAR: Balochi language singer Hanif Chamrok was gunned down by unknown persons in Turbat city of Kech district.
The police said that Chamrok was taking a music class along with some youngsters outside his home in Singani village on the outskirts of Turbat when unidentified men opened fire on him.
They said the attackers on a motorcycle used automatic weapons.
According to the police, Chamrok received multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.
Hanif Chamrok body was shifted to the hospital for postmortem and later was handed over to his family.
It is pertinent to mention here that singer Hanif Chamrok was the father of Tayyaba Baloch, human right activist in Balochistan.
