Islamabad: PC-1 of Islamabad Highway ‘Signal Free project’ from Koral Chowk to T Chowk Rawat has been approved by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP)..
According to media reports the approval was given during a meeting presided over by Deputy Chairman Planning Commission Sartaj Aziz.
As the said PC-1 is worth Rs10.753 billion and the CDWP have powers to approve PC-1 up to Rs3 billion therefore, the PC-1 has been sent to ECNEC for final approval.
The meeting of ECNEC will be held on May 29 under Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
