Rawalpindi: Fire broke out in an illegal godown of oil and spare parts in Westridge Rawalpindi and goods worth millions of rupees were burnt to ashes.
According to Rescue sources, Fire erupted in an illegal godown of oil and spare parts in valley 3 of Westridge Rawalpindi. The fire engulfed the other shade also.
Rescues teams doused the fire after the struggle of two hours.
Nearby homes were evacuated due to the high intensity of fire and electricity supply was also disconnected.
The causes leading to fire eruption could not be ascertained.
