RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has declared 31 housing societies illegal.
According to media reports RDA has asked the people to avoid making investments in the bogus housing societies
According to director RDA Jamshed Aftab, only 43 housing societies have been declared legal and 31 housing societies have been declared illegal. NOC has been issued to only 43 housing societies in Rawalpindi Tehsil jurisdiction.
As per RDA spokesperson sources the 31 private housing societies which have been declared bogus and illegal are Babar Homes, Paras villas, Al-falah home, Jinnah town, Airport Employees Cooperative Housing society, Gulshan Ali, Janjua town-1, 2,3, Khiaban-e- Millat, Rasool town, National TOWN, Khiaban-E- Qaid, T and T Housing society, OGDC Town, Hamza Town, Sanghar town, Gulshan Iqbal, Fazal town phase-2, Gulberg town, Lake Vista residential, Rawal city, Palm city, Jabbar City, Usman Black, Jubilee town, Lawyers town. Radio colony, Federation of Employees Cooperative Housing society, Zamar Zar Housing project, Gulrez Housing scheme and Metro homes.
