QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Balochistan government is endeavouring to provide modern means of communications to the people residing in backwards areas of province.

The Director General Communication Department Balochistan told our Quetta correspondent during a brief interview on Friday, an amount of seven billion rupees have been allocated in the budget of current fiscal year. He said that 125 new and 230 ongoing schemes would be completed in Communications Sector.

He added that construction of a Parking Complex at the Civil Secretariat Quetta has recently been completed. The remaining projects under the Master Plan would be completed at a cost of 626 million rupees.
