Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) The Punjab Government has decided to start first ever Emergency College of Medicines in Rawalpindi Medical University.
The first ever project in Pakistan will be started in collaboration with British College of Medicine, while the Allied Hospitals are being given the status of university hospitals.
According to media reports, all the emergency doctors, nurse and paramedical staff working in all the government Hospitals of Punjab would be provided special training in emergency college of medicines. One year diploma course will be introduced for imparting this training and all the relevant initiatives will be taken in this regard in the next three to four months.
