Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Former Prime Minister and President Tehreek-e-Insaf Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Qayoom Niazi has paid tribute to the workers on Labor Day and said that today is a symbol of the sanctity and dignity of labor.

Emphasizing the principles of justice, equality, and respect for human rights, Islam laid down guidelines for labor rights long before international labor laws. The government should take special measures for the welfare of the laborers and impart skills so that society can prosper.

He said in a special message on International Workers’ Day that despite contributing to economic prosperity, workers are facing many problems. The workers face problems like unsafe environments, unfair labor practices, and low wages.

We have a huge labor force and youth population. Workers and employers are partners in the production process, and PTI is determined to improve the working and living conditions of workers. The government should increase the minimum wages of workers, he said.

Imran Khan as the Prime Minister of Pakistan took special measures for the workers. Even during the coronavirus epidemic, Imran Khan did not let the laborers’ hearts go out, but today the laborer is suffering. Inflation made the life of the laborer miserable. PTI will come back to power and solve the problems of workers on a priority basis, he said.
