Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Syed Tariq Fatemi has termed the unabated killings of innocent Kashmiris by the Indian forces in the occupied territory as the worst form of state terrorism.

He was talking to OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Ahmad Al-Othaimeen, in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Syed Tariq Fatemi also highlighted the brutal use of state apparatus against minorities in India.

He strongly condemned the printing, publication and propagation of blasphemous material on social media.

The Special Assistant stressed the need for a collective stance against such incidents of propagation of falsehood and use of violence and preaching of hatred against adherents of Islam.

Tariq Fatemi rejected attempts by individuals and states to use the pretext of “freedom of expression”, to engage in these malicious actions.

The Secretary General stressed the need to counter Islamophobia, express solidarity with Muslim minorities and work together against publication and propagation of blasphemous material on social media.

Hungarian Deputy State Secretary of Foreign Affairs Szilveszter Bus also called on Tariq Fatemi in Islamabad today and discussed bilateral relations.

The Special Assistant expressed satisfaction on the overall state of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Szilveszter Bus said that trade volume between the two countries had great potential for expansion.
