Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference has said that India is conspiring to unleash fresh bloodshed by implementing the Doval Doctrine on Jammu and Kashmir.

The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian authorities were hell-bent on making situation explosive, and for this purpose they are trying to create disturbances and uncertainty in the territory. Referring to the Indian Army Chief’s statement, the APHC said the authorities are planning to control Masajid and religious schools to quench freedom sentiments. The spokesman asked the people to follow only the programmes issued by the joint resistance leadership.

APHC leader and President of Anjuman Sharie Shain Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi reacting to New Delhi’s policy of controlling madrasas and mosques, in a statement said that India had already started working on a plan to divide the Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir. However, he expressed the resolve that Indian move aimed at creating discord among different schools-of-thought would not succeed.

Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chief, Aasiya Andrabi in a statement said that New Delhi was making an attempt to enforce Hindutva in the Valley. Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami, who heads a conglomerate of 40 different religious organizations, in a statement, said that the move like other such moves would be defeated by the watchful people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, Mirwaiz-led Hurriyet forum, Jamaat-e-Islami of occupied Kashmir and other Hurriyet leaders and organizations in their statements denounced the unabated nocturnal raids carried out by Indian forces and arbitrary arrests of youth across the territory. They strongly condemned the inhuman and vengeful attitude of the occupation authorities towards Kashmiri youth and children.

A court has extended stay on the bail order of senior APHC leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt, by 12 more days. Masarrat Aalam Butt is currently detained at Sumbal Police Station in Bandipora.
