Rawalakot: (Parliament Times) AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan called for collective efforts for the success of Kashmir liberation struggle.

Addressing at award distribution ceremony of Sudhan Education conference here on Monday, he said that Azad Kashmir was liberated by our forefathers because of the unity and collective efforts in 1947 and same spirit is required now to liberate the remaining part of Kashmir now under Indian occupation.

Recognizing the crucial role of Sudhan Education Conference, founded by Col Khan Muhmmad Khan in promoting education in Azad Kashmir, the president said this organization is not  spreading the light of education just in one tribe rather the organization provide educational scholarships to children of all tribes without any discrimination.

Sardar Masood Khan said there is no superiority or inferiority on the basis of tribes as Allah made us into nations and tribes that we may know one another. The most honored of us in the sight of Allah is the most righteous from among us. The conference was presided over by Sardar Muhammad Siddique Khan while Brigadier (Retd) Muhammad arif Khan, Sardar Abdul Khaliq and others highlighted the salient features of the annual progress report of the conference.

The Speakers said that due to the concerted efforts of Sudhan Education Conference, Poonch District is now leading in terms of literacy rate while at least eight youths join Pakistan Military Academy, Air Force every years.  They said that District Poonch has honour to have produced army general, doctors and engineers and this all happened because of the platform like Sudhan Education Conference.

In his speech AJK president said our people had not only fought a war but liberated the area now known as Azad Kashmir. He urged that organizations like Sudhan Education Conferference should have network down to gross root level. He said we should work with all other tribes respecting their traditions and cultural preferences.
