Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The Deputy Speaker Legislative Assembly, Sardar Farooq Tahir has called on President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan and discussed with him host of issues relating to AJK.  Speaking on the occasion, President said it is matter of great satisfaction that government headed by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan is taking concrete steps for fulfillment of its promises made with the people during general elections. He said AJK government is in constant contact with Federal government in different levels and expressed his hope that AJK will get its share from federal grants to meet its budgetary needs and to run the wheel of development in the state. The president said Chief Ministers of all the four provinces assured to support AJK’s demand for its share in federal divisible pool. Sardar Masood Khan said that government of Pakistan always took care of AJK’s budgetary needs and hopefully it will continue to help the state in future too. The two leaders also discussed prevalent situation in Occupied Kashmir.
