ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) Slow paced construction work
on expansion of road project in Bhara Kahu has compounded
the miseries of residents particularly traders and
commuters.
Work on expansion of road in respect of 2 kilometre of
Murree road in Bhara Kahu has not been completed since
the last one month due to negligence of administration.
The citizens particularly the traders, commuters and
visitors have to plunge into whirlpool of dust daily due
to construction work. Traffic remains jammed the whole day
long and this way the sale on shops and markets is being
adversely affected. This factor has slashed the income of
the shop keepers to one fourth due to visitors hesitation
to move to the markets amid the clouds of dust.
The citizens have demanded for expediting the expansion of
road work so that they could get relief from the respiratory
diseases as soon as possible.
