Muzaffarabad:,  (Parliament Times)  The nation should collectively repent and seek forgiveness. The government of Azad Kashmir should also collectively arrange for repentance in all mosques and religious places. Landslides caused by heavy rains and loss of life and property are regrettable. A special investigation committee should be formed to expose the factors that allow the construction of rivers, hills and canals.

These views were expressed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf District Muzaffarabad President Syed Azhar Ali Geelani while talking to the media after expressing his condolences to the families who were victims of landslides and other accidents in Muzaffarabad Division yesterday. Syed Azhar Ali Geelani said that immediately after Eid-ul-Fitr, stormy rains started and alerts were issued repeatedly by the Meteorological Department, but the administration and the government did not do enough to protect the lives and property of the people. Did not make arrangements, due to which hundreds of human lives and properties were exposed to serious threats and hundreds of houses were destroyed. ‘

The roads are showing a scene of destruction. He said that the infrastructure in Muzaffarabad division is showing the scene of 2005 earthquake, but the government is not taking the name of exiting Kashmir House.
