Karachi() Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership, including Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asifa Bhutto Zardari, welcomed Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Jawad Amin Rabai at Bilawal House in Karachi. The meeting was a testament to the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Palestine, rooted in shared historical memories and ongoing solidarity.

During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, former Foreign Minister, engaged in a dialogue with Ambassador Rabai, conveying the heartfelt greetings of the Palestinian leadership, led by Abu Mazen, and the Palestinian people. Bilawal Zardari expressed profound gratitude for Pakistan’s unwavering support for the justice and rights of the Palestinian people, particularly amidst the ongoing challenges faced by Gaza.

In a symbolic gesture of remembrance and solidarity, Bilawal Zardari and Asifa Bhutto Zardari were presented with a frame featuring memorial photographs of martyrs Benazir Bhutto and Yasir Arafat, underscoring the shared sacrifices and aspirations of the Pakistani and Palestinian peoples.

Furthermore, Ambassador Rabai presented a memorial photo and shield of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, highlighting the significance of the holy site in the hearts and minds of both nations. Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, also joined the occasion, reaffirming the collective commitment of the Sindh region to stand with Palestine in its struggle for justice and freedom.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the history of brutality and barbarism perpetrated by Israel in Gaza, echoing the sentiments of solidarity and empathy shared by the Pakistani people. He emphasized that Pakistan remains steadfast in its support for Palestine, with its hearts beating in unison with the Palestinian cause.
