MIRPUR [AJK], (Parliament Times):  With a dazzling zest to affix their destiny with Pakistan at all costs, Jammu and Kashmir people, dwelling both sides of the Line of Control [LoC}  – AJK and Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK) besides rest of the world,  celebrated Pakistan Day on Thursday with full zeal and fervor.
Our Special AJK Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from Mirpur that the day  dawned with special prayers at Fajr, in the mosques on both sides of the fragile Line of Control  (LoC) standing between the kin by bowing before Almighty Allah for the safety, security, integrity, progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the early success of the Kashmiris just and principled struggle for liberation of IIOJK from the Indian forced and unlawful occupation.
The Jammu and Kashmir people, on this auspicious  occasion,  also prayed for the  early translation into reality of the resolution of July 19th in 1947, adopted at the Aabi Guzer Srinagar residence of Sardar Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, (later founder President of  AJK), wherein the pragmatically represented 70-stalwarts assemblage of Kashmiris with Ch. Hamidullah Khan.
In Special Pakistan day  congregations hosted in various parts of the State,  living in Azad Jammu Kashmir and Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir plus elsewhere simultaneously prayed  for the stability, security, affluence and swift progress of Pakistan and for the early success of the Kashmiri’s freedom movement to reach to their ultimate destination of Pakistan through accession of the entire Jammu Kashmir to the Pak land.
In AJK, flag hoisting ceremonies to mark the celebration of  Pakistan day were held  in a befitting manner at all small and major cities and towns across the liberated territory.. Pakistan and AJK flags were hoisted atop all small and major private and public buildings. Various private social, political and public representative organizations hosted special programmes to celebrate the day.
In the AJK’s capital city of Muzaffarabad, Pakistan Day was marked with major  national flag hoisting ceremony – where national flags of Pakistan and AJK were hoisted to mark the national day with Kashmiris deep rooted love and affection with Pakistan, their ultimate destination.
Pakistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir flags were hoisted atop  all public and private buildings in the State metropolis.
The special Pakistan day ceremonies in all small and major cities of the liberated territory were the hallmark of the day. These ceremonies were hosted in all ten districts of AJK including Muzaffarabad, Neelam valley, Jhelum valley, Havaili, Mirpur, Bhimbher, Kotli, Bagh, Sudhnoti, Rawalakot besides their respective sub divisional headquarters.
 Speakers in these ceremonies will highlight the significance of the day in the backdrop of the history of Pakistan movement launched under the solitary dynamic leadership of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
And in the bleeding Indian Illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir, valiant Kashmiris reportedly hoisted national flag of Pakistan atop their houses, trees and electricity poles  in various cities in the turbulent occupied valley, including in remote and far flung areas to celebrate Pakistan day to reiterate their deep rooted ever-lasting love and affection with Pakistan – amidst the shadow of the Indian guns and despite heavy restrictions by the Indian occupational forces in the internationally-acknowledged disputed IIOJK State, reports reaching here Thursday  from across the Line of Control revealed. More details from the strife-torn  muslim- majority occupied State  are yet awaited.
