Mirpur (Parliament Times): 02 week long Training of Enumerators (TOEs) regarding 7th Population and Housing Census by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Planning Development, commenced in Mirpur.
Masood ur Rehman, Commissioner Muzaffarabad inaugurated the training session at Government Boys High School No.1 in the state metropolis late Saturday.
After introductory session, Commissioner Muzaffarabad addressed to the participants and expressed his views regarding census. He said that census was important for proper distribution of resources and without the cooperation of school teachers, activities like census and elections could not be conducted. Further, he advised to the enumerators to understand basic concepts and definitions and pay full to the assigned roles.
