Muzaffarabad/MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan has said that the government would use all resources to solve the problems people settled in remote areas of the state.

While addressing various reception ceremonies organised by party workers on his way from Muzaffarabad to upper Pithiali here today the PM said that providing the provision of basic amenities of life to people in far off villages was his government’s top most priority. He said that the government would leave no stone unturned in building roads and other basic infrastructure to put the region on the path of development.

It is worth mentioning here that during his visit the PM was accorded a warm welcome by the people at different places. When his cavalcade reached Upper Pithiali late at night, a large number of people from the area were present to receive the prime minister. The PM was accompanied by Ch. Rasheed, Dewan Ali Chaghatai, Former Minister Chaudhry Shahzad, Chaudhry Zafar Anwar, Raja Mansoor Khan, Zeeshan Haider, Asghar Qureshi, Khurram Hameed Rokhri, Senior Anchor Nasrullah Malik, Khalid Faruqi, Qazi Israel and several others.Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan is the first ever prime minister to visit the Upper Malassi and Pithiali the remotest villages falling in Hattian Dupata Constituency.

On the occasion, the PM reviewed the ongoing development projects on the way right from Malassi till Pithiali and issued orders on the spot to solve the problems of the people.Besides upgradation of Pithiali, Panjkot Road, Peer Chinasi- Pithiali Road Survey it was decided to include Hattian Dupatta constituency, tourist destination of Pithiali, Panjkot and Upper Malassi in the tourism corridor. Moreover, the PM announced a number of development schemes to improve life of people in these areas including the establishment of a Hospital and a High School at Sunikot, upgrading of Pithiali Middle School and Vocational Centre, setting up a Veterinary Hospital, Water and Electricity Supply scheme, revival of Rest House at Duao Khan.

The PM also appealed to the public to participate fully in the upcoming procession scheduled to be held on 29th September.The PM also directed the local administration and other relevant authorities and institutions to dedicate themselves to the service of the public. The PM on the occasion mingled with masses and spent some time with them. The Prime Minister also planted saplings at Pithiali.
