Top Mirpur Div. Police Chief lauds quick netting of all main accused of famous Dadayal lawyer murder case:

MIRPUR (Parliament Times) : In acknowledgement of their outstanding performance in unearthing and arresting all 04 alleged killers of lawyer Waqar Altaf within 04 days after the incident, all 29 police officers and constables including the Chief Investigating Officer – SSP Raja Irfan Saleem were Wednesday awarded cash prizes coupled with certificates of performance for unearthing the bandits involved in the famous blind murder case.
The accused, reportedly the target killers, had maneuvered and materialized the nefarious plan shooting down the Advocate Waqar Altaf allegedly with the pre-planned connivance of the deceased real brothers – UK-based Israr Altaf and Turkey-based Sikander over the property, wealth dispute in Waqar’s ancestral home in village Bun Saien in Dadayal sub division of the lake district of Mirpur in the broad day of September 10, this year, according to the immediate investigations by the area police.
The simple but impressive award distribution ceremony was hosted in Deputy Inspector General of Police Mirpur Division office here – where the DIG Police Dr. Khalid Mahmood Chauhan awarded certificates, besides the cash prizes of different volume of amounts to the top district police officers of high and subordinate ranks in acknowledgement of their exceptional performance by rounding up all of 04 main accused, including the ring leader – an Islamabd-based lawyer Bilal Ahmed, for their alleged involvement in the gruesome blind murder of the Advocate Waqar Altaf.
Speaking to the media on this occasion, DIG Police Mirpur Div. Range Dr. Khalid Mahmood Chouhan lauded the extra ordinary performance of the chief investigating officer SSP Mirpur Raja Irfan Saleem and other members of the police team comprising seasoned officers including Additional SP Mirpur Raja Azhar Iqbal, DSP Dadayal Choudhry Ansar Mahmood, Sub Inspector SHO Thothal Raja Zohaib Tahir, SHO Dadayal SI Adnan Sabir, Sub Inspector Amaar Dar, DFC Dadayal Shameem Khan and other subordinate COPs for their grand success in unearthing and netting the accused of the blind murder of the lawyer Waqar by two of the target killers impersonating them the police men in the uniform
The DIG Police Khalid Chouhan said that Mirpur division including himself were proud of the investigating police team, led by the highly professionally talented and skilled – valiant Mirpur Senior Superintendent Police Raja Irfan Saleem for their exceptionally outstanding performance in unearthing the absconding alleged paid killers of the blind assassination of the lawyer Waqar Altaf.
The DIG Dr. Chouhan on this occasion crowned all 29 officers and constables of the special investigating police team including its head SSP Raja Irfan Saleem, Additional SP Mirpur Raja Azhar Iqbal, DSP Dadayal Choudhry Ansar Mahmood, Sub Inspector SHO Thothal Raja Zohaib Tahir, SHO Dadayal SI Adnan Sabir, Sub Inspector Amaar Dar, DFC Dadayal Shameem Khan besides the constables including Mohsin Jaffery, Muhammad Abbas, Muhammad Ehsan, Sajid Mahmood, Abdul Rehman, Munashir Muneer, Subair Abbas, Zulfiqar Ali, Tahir Abbas, Suhail Hafeez, HC Wahid Hussain, Sajid Shabeer, Subtain Hussain Shah, Muhammad Yasir, Muhammad Haroon, Aurangzeb, Ahsin Shoukar, Muyassar Sarwar, Imran Khalid Sidee que, Nadeem Yaseen and Kafeel Ahmed. As reported earlier, Mirpur police succeeded in arresting 04 alleged target killers, including an Islamabad-based lawyer, involved in the broad-day murder of a local lawyer Waqar Altaf in his residence in Dadayal town pm September 10 (this month).
Police also recovered and confiscated the arms, a toyota corolla car, motorbike and two police uniforms used by the accused for assassination of the Advocate Waqar Altaf. The arrested accused include the alleged ring leader – an Islamabad-based Advocate Bilal Ahmed son of Liaqat Ali r/o Sheikhupura, member Islamabad bar association, Hameed Ullah s/o Saeed Ullah Jan r/o Karak KPK, and Hassan Ali Butt s/o Ashiq Ali Butt r/o Gujrat, according to the police.
