Muzaffarabad,  (Parliament Times) : The PTI-AJK governing body meeting here on Saturday expressed its full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan and reiterated the party’s unwavering commitment to pursue the PTI chairman Imran Khan’s ideology in letter and spirit.

The meeting held under the chairmanship of the AJK premier Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Khan also took important decisions vis-a-vis the upcoming local body elections. Terming municipal elections as an important part of the PTI’s election manifesto, the participants of the meeting resolved that the holding of the LG polls would go a long way to provide grooming opportunities to the region’s future leaders and budding political activists.

The governing body while hailing the leadership of the PTI chief Imran Khan said that Khan was not only leader of Pakistan but of the entire Muslim Ummah.

Regarding the opposition’s purported move to bring a no-confidence motion against the AJK Prime Minister, the governing body said that the opposition was spreading rumours to escape from the local body elections. While condemning the rumour-mongering the governing body expressed the confidence that the PTI government would not only complete its five-year constitutional term but also win next elections.

The political future of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir it said belonged to the lovers of Imran Khan.

“After the PTI’s landslide victory in the Punjab by-election, the imported government was also running away from the election”, the meeting said.

During the meeting, committees were formed regarding the preparations for the public meeting of Chairman PTI Imran Khan on September 29.

During the meeting special prayers were offered for flood affected people of the country.
