MIRPUR (AJK), (Parliament Times) : Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry on Thursday presided over senate meeting of the State~run Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST).
Speaking on the occasion, the President Barrister Chaudhry, who is also chancellor of all public sector universities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, said that improving quality and standard of education in the universities of Azad Kashmir was their top most priority.
“We wish that students after seeking degrees from our universities can prove their mettle not only in Azad Jammu Kashmir and Pakistan but also abroad on the basis of their ability and potential”, he said.
THe said that it was heartening to see that MUST was first among the universities of Azad Kashmir that has taken a giant leap to be ranked as the best performing universities in Pakistan. He said that other universities of Azad Kashmir should also follow this tradition and increase their educational capacity.
