HAJIRA, (from Raja Jameel): The people of Azad Kashmir should not be treated as sheep. The fifteenth constitutional amendment is not accepted in any case. The region of Azad Kashmir cannot afford any amendment. Instead of making people and institutions clash, governments should focus on solving public problems. Kamran Bashir Gursi, the candidate of Assembly Constituency Lo-19 Poonch-2, said this while talking to senior journalist Raja Jameel. He strongly condemned the steps taken by the Indian government in Kashmir on August 5, 2019 and said that the silence on the part of the international community on the Indian initiative is deplorable. India cannot keep the Kashmiris as slaves for a long time.
He fully supported the wheel jam shutter down strike on August 6 by People’s Rights Forum District Poonch Awami Action Committee Tehsil Hajira and All Parties People’s Rights Forum Hajira against fuel adjustment and fifteenth constitutional amendment in Azad Kashmir and has instructed all his workers to fully participate in this protest. He demanded that the arrests and torture of the people of Thorar and Rawalkot for the sake of public rights is a condemnable act and the arrested should be released immediately.
