Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : President Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and senior minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that the special meeting of the AJK cabinet was a sign of full confidence in the leadership of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. “The approval proves that the people of Azad Kashmir are behind the Prime Minister of Pakistan.” He expressed these views while talking to reporters after the cabinet meeting.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said that the people of all the provinces of Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan stood like a rock with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan. He added that there was no precedent in the past of the way he had represented Kashmiris in international forums by becoming Kashmir’s ambassador.
“In the recent elections, people of Kashmir demonstrated perfect love for the Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he said. He added that the PTI government in Azad Kashmir would improve the health, infrastructure and communication system of the Azad Kashmir as per the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. He further stated that the PTI would again form the government in Azad Kashmir after its five-year term.
Commenting on a vote of no confidence against Imran Khan, he said that PTI Azad Kashmir’s entire party, cabinet and Kashmiri people stood by with Imran Khan and for the first time in the history of the country, Pakistan got a leader who supported the poor instead of thinking of himself and his family. He added that the whole world came to know about the oppression of the Indian forces against the unarmed Kashmiris only as a result of the successful foreign policy of the PTI government.
