Islamabad:   Prime Minister Imran Khan has accepted the resignation of Interior and Accountability Advisor Shehzad Akbar.
According to media report, consultation has been started on new names for Accountability Advisor.
Shehzad Akbar said that despite his resignation, he would remain attached to the party and would continue to provide legal services.
He hoped that the process of transparent accountability would continue under the leadership of the Prime Minister.
Shahzad Akbar could not achieve any success in 3 and a half years, Imran Khan was not satisfied with his performance. Shahzad Akbar’s evidence against an important person proved to be insufficient.
During the Broadsheet scandal, questions were raised about Shehzad Akbar. When the Prime Minister asked for details, Shehzad Akbar gave a wrong briefing. There were many discrepancies in the timelines and briefings of the cases.
