Gilgit baltistan: In Gilgit, a local resident of Jutial Jan Azam, captured alive a rare Astor Markhor, which had entered the residential area and handed over to the Wildlife Department Gilgit Baltistan. According to the details, Astor Markhor, who entered the Jutial population on the way down and lost his way back, was captured alive and safe by a local citizen and handed over to the authorities of wildlife department.Talking to Parliament Times local resident said that there was a danger of loss of life of Makhor if this was not caught and provided protection. Therefore, in view of the situation, the animal was caught and handed over to the concerned department. In this context, the person who handed over Astor Markhor alive from Jutial to the concerned department should also be encouraged. It is worth mentioning that this year in Gilgit-Baltistan four Astor Markhors, one lac thiry six thousand US dollars each have been auctioned to international hunters.The social circles have praised the local resident who caught Markhor and demanded the government to give reward to that responsible citizen.
