Rawalpindi,  (Parliament Times) : Punjab Arts of the arts organized an Islamic calligraphy exhibition to promote the young talent of the region. Chief Guest of the exhibition was the Chairperson Senate Committee on Climate Change Senator Seemee Ezdi. More than hundred painting was put on display for the exhibition. While addressing on this occasion she said Islamic calligraphy is a lost art of Muslims, Such competitions should be held to keep it alive. We must focus on teaching our children formal literature as well as creative literature, she added. We must focus on teaching our children formal literature as well as creative literature. The director of the Arts Council said that calligraphy is one of the oldest arts in the world. The Arts Council is taking significant steps to promote Islamic calligraphy. Islamic calligraphy classes are one such step. The exhibition was attended by a large number of people from different walks of life.
