Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir announced to organize a protest sit-in near CeaseFire Line on International Human Rights Day.

In a statement issued here on Monday, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that the protest demonstration would be aimed to seek international human rights organizations’ attention towards deteriorating situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

Uzair said that the entire state has been turned into a prison where 12 million people are living under fear of terror and death.

He maintained that thousands of Kashmiri citizens are living miserable life in Indian prisons who have been booked without any legal trials.

Ghazali demanded that OIC, international human rights organizations, Amnesty International and Asia Watch including others have a role to play in preventing India from committing these war crimes in IIOJ&K.

He appealed to the people of Muzaffarabad division to join the protest against Indian forces brutalities and express their solidarity with the people of IIOJ&K in Chakoti on December 10th.
