QUETTA,(Parliament Times): Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha has expressed his views while talking to a delegation led by Director General of Benazir Income Support Program Abdul Jabbar at Governor House Quetta on Wednesday that the situation posed by the global epidemic of Covid-19 has further aggravated the problems and difficulties facing the zealous class.
The Benazir Income Support Program has been instrumental in this regard. Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha has said that economy is the basic foundation of any society and in order to strengthen and stabilize the economic system, it is necessary to ensure the participation of the vast majority of the society in all economic and political activities. The federal and provincial governments are ensuring the Ehsas Kiflat program and the provision of rations to the deserving at their doorsteps to alleviate the hardships of the needy and poor.
He said that it is necessary to expand the benefits of Benazir Income Support Program and for this there is an urgent need to run a full public awareness campaign.
