QUETTA,    (Parliament Times)  : Governor Balochistan Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha has said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that due to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Billion Tree Tsunami Project, Pakistan’s eco-friendly initiatives are being welcomed globally.

He said that planting of olives under the Billion Tree Tsunami Project in Loralai would not only increase the national production but also bring positive results in terms of global warming.

On the occasion of talking to a delegation of Loralai led by Deputy Commissioner Loralai Dr. Atiq-ur-Rehman Shahwani at Governor House Quetta on Saturday the Governor of Balochistan said that a Memorandum of Understanding between Barani University Chakwal and University of Loralai would be signed soon regarding tree planting.

The federal government will provide full support for the olive groves. He said that geographically Loralai is of special importance, adding that the construction of national highways would have a positive impact on the economy of the entire province and would help in gaining access to the markets of other provinces.

The Governor Balochistan said that he would soon visit Loralai and consult the concerned persons for resolving the problems and difficulties faced by the people.
