ISLAMABAD:   Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has said that his government will hold election under such a system that opposition accepts its defeat.

“Overseas Pakistanis are valuable assets of the country. It is our endeavor that overseas Pakistan could cast their votes through e-voting”, he said this while addressing Letter of Administration and Succession Certificates Initiative for Punjab launching ceremony here Wednesday.

He went on to say that government job is to facilitate the people. We should create facilities for the people through use of technology. Earlier Overseas Pakistanis were required to come to Pakistan to acquire succession certificate. Now they can obtain certificate through biometric verification abroad.

We should provide facilitates to the people through use of technology. We hope Chairman NADRA will create every possible facility for people.
Imran Khan said Electronic Voting Machines will be introduced to eliminate rigging in the elections. He said we will bring such a system that the election results are acceptable to the losing parties.

He remarked law ministry is under high pressure. We too complain that when file goes to law ministry then it is not traced where it has gone. File is lost. The land related files catch fire . Half of the cases in the courts pertain to land disputes.

He pointed out that record of Islamabad will be computerized till August. The process of acquisition of succession certificate has been very simplified. The land record can be preserved through computer system. Paperless system eliminates fraud.
