Tanveer Ilyas’s hard work paid off as Saghir Chughtai’s decides to leave Muslim Conference,
Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab and senior leader of PTI Sardar Tanveer Ilyas’s efforts to strengthen PTI Azad Kashmir came to fruition. A big blow to the Muslim Conference that Saghir will join PTI and become part of the party in Azad Kashmir. Saghir Chughtai will soon join the PTI, while political leaders from other important constituencies, including the Muhajireen, will soon join the PTI. According to sources, Saghir Chughtai will contest from LA-22 on the PTI ticket while his nephew and senior PTI leader Sardar Tanveer Ilyas will contest on the PTI ticket from Wasti Bagh. Saghir Chughtai has previously been a member of the Kashmir Council.
