RAWALPINDI,  (Parliament Times):   Punjab Minister for Law and Cooperatives Muhammad Basharat Raja has said that the guidelines issued by the NCOC on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to curb Corona will be strictly implemented. The sub-committee of the the cabinet is reviewing the monitoring and evaluation on a daily basis and the movement of citizens during the Eid holidays in the province will be closely monitored and it will be ensured that the citizens during the Eid holidays do not go out of the house unnecessarily and do not turn to public and tourist places. He presided over a meeting in this regard and said that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar himself was reviewing the implementation of COVID preventive SOPs and all relevant agencies have been directed to ensure that the restrictions imposed during the lockdown to be enforced in letter and spirit. Muhammad Basharat Raja said that we have to strictly adhere to the lockdown to protect our lives and the lives of others otherwise police and law enforcement agencies will fulfill their responsibilities Muhammad Basharat Raja said that police rangers and all law enforcement agencies have been alerted and police checkpoints have been set up at tourist routes. He said it is expected that people would behave like responsible citizen, and will cooperate to defeat Covid by abiding these restrictions.
