Muzaffarabad,(Parliament Times): Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir and other human rights organizations expressed concerns over the deplorable situation of Corona in India and demanded immediate release of Kashmiris prisoners imprisoned in different Indian jails.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali said that India is facing worst situation of pandemic and it is inevitable that all Kashmiri prisoners should be released immediately on humanitarian grounds. He maintained that the notorious Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Ayaz Akbar, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Musarat Alam Butt, Asiya Andrabi, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Naeem Ahmed Khan, Pir Saifullah and Shahid-ul-Islam , Farooq Ahmed Dar, Naheedah Nasreen, Fehmida Sufi, Syed Shahid Yousuf, Syed Shakeel Yousaf, Zahoor Ahmed Vitali, Bashir Ahmed Qureshi  and many others.
He reiterated that International human rights organizations should increase pressure on the Indian government to release Kashmiri prisoners who were illegally detained.  Human rights groups in India have also called for the release of Kashmiri prisoners” Ghazali added.
Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat also stated that Corona disease could pose serious threat to Kashmiri prisoners in Tihar Jail and other Indian jails, so human rights organizations must play their role to save lives of political prisoners.  Moreover, International Forum for Justice and Human Rights including other HR organizations also demanded the international community, WHO and Indian government to release Kashmiri prisoners on humanitarian grounds as the people are facing shortage of Oxygen all over India.
