Mirpur,  (Parliament Times) :  Deputy Commissioner Badar Munir while expressing views during addressing a meeting with the officers of the Education Department in his office chamber has said that the third wave of Coronavirus is leading to a huge increase in Corona cases as well as deaths from the outbreak. Health SOPs issued by the Azad Kashmir Government are being implemented 100 percent to protect people from coronavirus. He said that with the reopening of schools and colleges after the end of the lockdown, the heads and teachers of public and private educational institutions will have to take effective measures to secure the future of the architects of the nation. The School Administrations will be required to implement upon masks and SOPs. Classroom floors will be kept clean with disinfectants and social distance between the students will be maintained. All education officers will monitor SOPs in schools and colleges. He said that violators will be fined and sealed. Director Colleges Dr. Nazir Hussain, District Health Officer Dr. Fida Hussain, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Chaudhry Haq Nawaz, Assistant Commissioner Munir Ahmad Qureshi, District Education Officer Schools Niswan Farida Akbar, District Education Officer Schools Mardana Raja Bisharat Iqbal, Deputy CEO Saba Owais, Mirza Wajahat Baig from Private Schools, AEO Chakswari Muhammad Ajaib, AEO Dadial Matool Hussain, EPSCA Secretary General Arshad Mahmood, AEO Islamgarh Raja Gulbahar Akram, CEO Sharqi Dadial Siddique Rehman, AEO Islamgarh Shagufta Latif, AEO Niswan Khadi Tahira Nasreen attended the meeting. During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Badar Munir elaborated on the implementation of all health SOPs to curb the spread of the third wave of coronavirus. He concluded that teachers themselves and their students should be made aware to protect themselves from this virus and 100% SOPs should be implemented in all educational institutions.
