Islamabad,   (Parliament Times)  : Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab and Senior Leader PTI Sardar Tanvir Ilyas has said that he would play his role in promoting sports in Azad Kashmir

Khan said this while talking to a delegation of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Football Association led by its Vice Chairman Sardar Abdul Rauf Qadri that called on him here on Monday. Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Electronic Media and Photo Journalists Association Khawaja Kashif Mir was also present on the occasion.

While appreciating the efforts of all the people serving in the field of sports in the AJK Khan said that the establishment of the Football Association without government patronage and holding sports activities all over Azad Kashmir were commendable. He said that it was good to see boys travelling to all major cities of the country including Baluchistan and Peshawar to show their talent. He assured the visiting delegation he would play his part for the promotion of all sports including football in the region.

In future, he said, all efforts would be made to promote sports in the AJK in collaboration with the Federal Government and its affiliated Ministry of Sports and Associations.
