KARACHI:   PPP central leader and former Prime Minister (PM) Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has said Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan conditional resignation is meaningless as the cases of corruption and plundering have to be decided by the court.

He said this while talking to media men outside the anti corruption court after hearing of his case Wednesday.

He went on to say “ we did not give resignations before Senate polls as we thought that Senate polls would stop due to our resignations.

Former PM observed PPP legal advisors have given opinion that Senate polls would take place despite resignations. In the light of legal experts opinion we participated in Senate polls and by polls.

He claimed that 36 cases were registered against him under one charge. Approvers should be in jail but they are outside the jail.

He underlined that PDM public meeting on Kashmir would be held and PML-N would host it.

He pointed out that important decisions would be taken in PDM summit meeting. There are 11 component parties in PDM and the stance of every party is heard.
