Everyone needs a job but some need it more than others. This also applies to the United Nations – especially if the bulge of your population in the middle to the bottom of the populated pyramid is as thick as that of Pakistan. About 64% of the total population of Pakistan is under 30 years of age. 29? is in the age group of 15-29 years. These are a lot of young people. This job is very demanding. This shows why the current government was particularly keen on the issue of employment when it took office in 2018. A figure was set to include the crop and lavender in a brighter future: 10 million jobs in five years, but the figures look grim. According to the latest report of the State Bank of Pakistan, the country’s economy has recorded negative growth in the current financial year and even the most welcome forecast will not grow more than 2.5% in the coming year. Interestingly, for the current year, an earlier SBP report had projected a 3.3% increase. Now this explains the negative trend due to the covid-19 economic lockdown. The country is currently in the grip of the second wave of Covid-19. The government, which had not sounded the alarm before, has been issuing a nationwide shutdown warning. Yesterday, it closed its educational institutions until next year. When the weather is cold and social distances are affected, the second wave can make economic and human losses more difficult than ever. Therefore, all estimates about the economy are only estimates. As far as jobs are concerned, that is a bad news. In less than a year, more than 2.6 million jobs have been lost. Earlier, the economy stagnated due to the economic downturn associated with the epidemic, which had a profound effect on the job market and forced many to lay off jobs.
