ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 4 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,298 on Tuesday.
According to the statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 300 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours, surging the number of positive cases to 296,149.
Till now 129,469 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 96,832 in Punjab, 36,118 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,649 in Islamabad, 12,879 in Balochistan, 2,299 in Azad Kashmir and 2,903 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 2,403 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Sindh, 2,199 in Punjab, 1,250 in KP, 141 in Balochistan, 175 in Islamabad, 67 in GB and 63 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 2,642,028 coronavirus tests and 20,882 in last 24 hours. 280,970 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 589 patients are in critical condition.
