Paris,(Parliament Times): Kashmiris observe Indian independence day as Black Day since India is in a constant state of deniel of Kashmiris’ to right self-determination.
Call for the Black Day was given by Jammu Kashmir Forum France (JKFF) on 15th August ( Sunday) before Indian embassy in Paris. The Jammu Kashmi Forum France acting Chairman Maqsood Chaudhry, President Asif Jarral Senior vice president Faraz Ahmed and other senior office -bearers lead the protest demonstration. Kashmir Peace International president Zahid Iqbal Hashmi, prominent leaders and stalwarts of almost all political parties of Pakistan enthusiastically participated in the protest.
The day literally was marked as protest day for hours before the Indian Embassy. The slogans were chanted to curse Modi government for its unilateral and draconian measures to deprive Kashmiri people of their basic rights. The protesters demanded of the world community to compel India end the siege of 8 million Kashmiris and lift the lock-down and curfew IOJK.
A memorandom was also given to the embassy staff, and pamphlets were also distributed to the guests diplomats who were visiting the embassy on their so-called Republic Day.”We have rightly exposed Indian farce democracy before the world as India is not a real democratic state since it has been suppressing our voice by using heavy armed forces in IOJK. India has been continuously violating United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resoltions on Kashmir and involved in genocidal acts in Kashmir Valley”, the key speakers said.
