Brussels 🙁 Rasheed Ahmed)  Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) Mr Ali Raza Syed has strongly

condemned the brutal murder of a Kashmiri namely Bashir Ahmad Khan in

front of his 3-year grandson in Sopore town of occupied Kashmir.

According to Khan's daughter, her father had gone to the bank (on 1 st July)

to cash a cheque and on the way he was dragged out of his car and then

shot in cold blood. Media reports said, the family of Khan said that he was

dragged out of the car in which he was travelling with his minor grandchild

and then killed in cold blood by the Indian occupation troops.

In a statement while deploring this ruthless act of state terrorism, Chair of

KC-EU said, Indian occupation troops are involved in cruel crimes against

the humanity in occupied Kashmir and no body stop them. He urged the

international community to conduct an international independent

investigation under supervision of the UN into the crimes perpetrated by

Indian forces in occupied Kashmir.

Ali Raza Syed also gives reference of a bi-annual report of Jammu and

Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society (JKCCS) chaired by renown Kashmiri

figure Khurram Parvez as saying at 229 people were killed in the different

violent incidents in first six months of this year.

Ali Raza Syed paid rich tributes to the people of Kashmir who are

struggling for last seven decades, specially Kashmir martyrs who sacrificed

their lives for liberation of the motherland from the Indian illegal occupation.

He urged the international community including United Nation to prevent

rising waves of state terrorism committed by the Indian forces in

the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Major powers including US

and UK and international organizations such as UNSC, EU and OIC to

force the Indian state to stop this reign of terror in occupied Kashmir.

Specifically, Ali Raza Syed demanded UN and EU to send their delegations

to occupied Kashmir in order to aware of the ground situation there.

Chair of KC-EU further asked the world community to take measures for

the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per right to self-

determination.
