GHOTKI: At least three children were burnt alive when a fire broke out in huts set up at Raja Farm area in the outskirts of Ghotki in Sindh province.
According to media reports, the fire quickly spread and engulfed several huts, destroying all belongings and valuables in the huts. The residents brought the fire under control on self-help bases.
Sources said that the affected persons were farm laborers and belonged to Hindu community. The cause of the fire and estimate of losses could not be made immediately.
